watching this clippers kings game and damn blake griffin got game..dude becoming one of my favorite players

Every time Blake gets the ball, he does something cool.  Clippers are fun to watch again.  I mean, for the first time.

ESPN had Blakes 10 best dunks shown.  Rookie of the year for sure.

Those were some sick ass 10 dunks and its only been like 16 games into the season! =O

almost half of those dunks from one game.  He will save clippers this year.  He'll end up being a superstar somewhere else next year.  Clippers always give up their stars.

Did you see Lebron bumping the coach?  Was that an intentional bump?

they had players only meeting after the game - who called that?  Who is in charge over there in Miami?

Actually it's more like the Clippers never get true star players because they have historically been terrible at drafting. Right now the best former Clippers still in the league would be Lamar Odom and Elton Brand probably. Maggette, Richardson, and Livingston were all promising but never took that next step. However, the Clips have recently put together some really great draft picks with Kaman, Gordon, Jordan, Griffin, Aminu, and Bledsoe. They have the U23 (under age 23) squad starting right now and they have become a very exciting team to watch.

Hope the Clippers allow these guys to grow together, but I have a feeling that they will not.

The rumor in L.A. has always been that the owner makes more money by having a losing team.

My fear:  The Clippers will get better, demands to see them will rise, and the ticket prices will also go up.  I can't afford Lakers tickets so I go see the Clippers from time to time.

But how do you make money off a team that keeps on being the laughing stock of the NBA for years, specially considering that in the same city you have a team that not only is increidibly succesful but it's also by far the most popular team in the NBA (at least internationally, Lakers and Kobe are by far the most recognized outside the US)? Considering how more successful teams lose money, I simply can't see how the Clippers would gain something by sucking constantly when you add the factor that it's not like you're forcing the city to rally behind you because "it's the only team we have and we gotta support it"
