In Dutch you can say 'The streets are black of the people ' It means that they are a lot of people...

And considering black friday their is always a big mass I thought it meant the same like in Dutch.

so an lot of places have there big sale before the hoilday's we have it one day after chirstmas. But we now have sales all year round now, retail big sales are pointless when they are on sale every day almost
