Something else strange happened. When I hit level 19 or 20, my history disappeared from the Leader Board. It said I needed to play 5 ranked games to be displayed and told me I had only played 1.

I thought it was strange also but if you look at the leaderboard filters it shows weekly first. It is a new week so that is why it went away. You can change the filter from weekly , monthly, all time (although the latter two you have to play more games to be shown (I think 25 for monthly not sure for all time).
I may have dissed the headset earlier yet I will probably pick one up since it helps when forming a party deciding on what type of game to play/etc. I just have to control my anger sometimes when I am getting killed (even though most the times I come back and usually always finish in top 3). Today before work I was kicking some ass in reg TDM. Last game I played before work, I ended up with 29 or 30 kills and just 10 deaths.

Thanks for explaining that to me, I guess I was not paying attention to how the leaderboards work.
I played around with my settings yesterday, trying to improve my turning speed and other responses. I ended up with the controls being so sensitive I could not control anything. I could not aim because I could not hold steady. I spent an hour jumping in and out of games trying to correct things with no success. Finally I just gave up and will have to reset things to default and start all over again. Any pointers on how to set things up to work well?

I find the default controls well enough. They are similar to WaW so I see no need to mess around with them. Although turning radius could be a little faster I still don't have too much trouble turning around. Usually, I don't even turn around when being fired on in back if there are doorways / etc to go through. I just make a mad dash (most of the times I use SMGs (SMGs you can haul ass with but sometimes use assault rifles) to some sort of cover then turn around. However, if I am in the open then you have to turn around. Hopefully, you can make your controls better without messing them up completely.
I am sure there are a few more VGChartz Wii users that have picked this game up by now... If not I highly recommend it. Multiplayer alone is good enough reason to pick it up. Still some lag issues here and there (especially if the host has bad connection). Hopefully, with more patches they can further improve the multiplayer.
