I've seen threads praising Kinect, bashing Kinect, etc. but one thing (two things, actually) that I haven't seen are:

• The thread stating how much Kinect has sold
• The thread predicting how much Kinect will sell

So here's your chance to prove your power of prediction.  Before ioi and company release the official numbers, immortalize yourself by posting your Kinect sales numbers.  Closest guess wins a cookie!  And mods, if there already is a thread like this, feel free to lock this one.

I'll go conservatively and say 500k. Not sure what to guess here since I've never before tracked numbers for a peripheral said to be a new launch for a console so I don't know if thats over or under estimating it . . .

Are we talking the US week one? It launched in Europe today. I know because my box is sitting at home waiting for me to get home.

Hmm. 400K in America week one. That would be faster than the 360 launched, but slower than the Wii.

I'm gonna be so embarrassed if it ends up being something like 300,000.  I just have a feeling that Kinect had a strong launch and will sell slower but steadier between now and the end of the year.  But then, I've never been good at predicting sales.  :(
