So my conclusion of no dodging and leaning in Kinect was correct...I loved that about Wii boxing.  Having the fight fixated with no movement pretty much turns it into an offense only fight.

Yep, sounds like lousy game design to me.

I'm sure the next Fight Night will come with Kinect support. But I'm not bitter that after four years of motion control, nobody has made a better boxing sim on the Wii than Wii Sports. No siree.

Around the Network

I always thought that I was the only one that liked Wii Boxing.  I found it to be the opposite of a waggle or button masher.  I spent lots of time on the game and found that it was all about finding the rhythm, getting in the pocket, hitting and not being hit.  Once I got the technique down no one could touch me, just like Roy Jones Jr. in his prime.  I have not played kinect yet, but when I get the chance I will be judging it based on Boxing, Bowling and Tennis. I hope that the kinect does a great job on these, as I am a motion control fan not a console fanboy.  I am also a big fan of Grand Slam Tennis, another game others hated and I found to be very deep in technique.

Yeah I really enjoy Wii Sports Boxing as well, never really got into a debate with people that said it was broken, I know it's not as natural to get into as the others so it's understandable when people go in punching without reason.

As for Kinect Sports Boxing I really need more time with it but it's sorta similar without the dodging, might be a little while till I can get more time with it sadly.
