Some people were concerned that DKCR may not be the same quality as Rareware's DKC games for the SNES, but it looks as though Retro has proven otherwise.

Don't think so. They didn't review Kirby's Epic Yarn until this issue as well (9.5), and Epic Mickey is just barely getting released this month (November 30th). Also, I'm sure someone would've pointed out the score by now.
