If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

Home consoles only?  For stuff I've played on...

NES > SMS 

Genesis > SNES > TG16 (but all 3 are INSANELY close... best gen ever! <3 <3)

Saturn > PS1 > N64 > 3DO

PS2 > GC > DC > Xbox

Wii > 360 > PS3

I own all 3 but mostly play the PS3... The exclusives and variety really seals the deal. Also helps that it supports 7.1 surround sound so my Denon receiver doesn't go to waste.

I own all three :).  I really don't have a preferred console.  I go back and forth between all three.  Depending on who's online and what type of game I want to play or that was recently released usually determines which console I prefer at the moment.

I own PS3/360 and I prefer my PS3.

It's all about the exclusives.

They all have their pros and cons...definetly my least favorite is the Wii, simply because I've never been able to get used to the motion controls.  Just my preference I guess.

Probably favor the PS3 the most.  The online is free, and I never noticed that much difference in the online play between the two.  I have to have gold now, anyway, though, because I love the new ESPN3 feature on the 360.

My favorite games of the generation (MGS4/Demon's Souls) were both PS3 exclusive as well, so that helps.  And I like the PS3 controller a little bit better than the 360, though it's not a major issue. 

Oh, and when I called in for support, Sony replaced me PS3 for free even though it was out of warrenty, and I had to pay when my 360 broke (because it was freezing/no RROD). 

There are a lot of 360 things I like, too, though.  It has Mass Effect, was first with Oblivion and Bioshock.  Has ESPN3.  Have a few more friends with them than PS3's. 

But anyway, overall, PS3.

I own all three consoles and I bought them according to price. I got the wii in Oct 07', 360 in Feb 08' and Ps3 in June 08'. The PS3 is definitely my preferred console. I mainly use my systems for watching movies (360 sucks at playing DvDs) and reading comics (Wii only recognizes 500 jpegs and 360 can't zoom). When I do play a multiplatform game, I prefer to play it on PS3. The 360 makes too much noise and I'm skitish about motion controls.
