Forums - Microsoft - Kinect featured on Fox News today.

Seriously back on topic....  I was not planning on getting a Kinect but all of my friends that have it already are raving about it.  It's not that they like the games, its just that the tech itself is so cool that it's just a fun thing to have in the house (instant video chat on your 46 inch HDTV with your friends with a camera that follows you around, pretty sweet).

Microsoft said 500 million dollars on kinect advertisement. who said this wasnt paid off (advertising). just saying

If that was true I don't think they would be talking about Wii and PS3 so much.

The dark haired guy doing the segment (Clayton Morris) is really into gadgets and other geeky crap. It was probably his idea to do a segment on the Kinect.

They are biased so there conclusion isn't credible.

So, what, Fox  News is biased towards the 360 now? ROFL.  Relax dude, everyone is giving the Kinect this kind of attention.

because theyre paid to do it... lol

fox news got the same deal as everyone else who showed kinect during their airtime, a big fatty check.  its pretty common for high budget products

No, they are biased in general.

Thats true. So is CNN, NBC, CBS, KABC, WALA, BBC, CNBC, MSNBC, ABC, and every other news channel you can think of or list, or even imagine. It's sad, really.

News channels being bias. Shocking. Chalk up another win for politicians.

It's sad that anyone would actually believe that the others (with the exception of MSNBC) are anywhere NEAR as biased as Fox news.

lol now i know that isn't true my local tv station showed the kinect so Microsoft payed them to lol i don't think so.

It would have been nice if they demoed the Move or Wii Motion Plus like this.. but I'm fairly sure MS owns a part of news corp so wouldnt expect it.

local tv station... which network?  there are only 6 major networks in television.  it would probably be smarter for microsoft to contact one of them and have their product shown throughout their channels in different ways, which would explain having many smaller parts of the network showing something.  microsoft wants everyone, not just people who watch 1 channel, to see their product, to do that they have to reach far and wide.

unless youre talking about public broadcasting, which is lol and probably not paid for by microsoft, probably just a fanboy
