Now then, I feel the need to impose my views:

Mafia is a forum game specifically designed to challenge the intellect of all parties involved. Whether to detect the possible scuminess of one individual or to avoid detection with false roleclaims. Such has been the essence of mafia. Only your wit and intellect should allow you to detect the mafiosi, aided by some investigative roles i.e. watcher, tracker, and cop

The phrasing of the PM is the most despicable way to determine scum. It shows nothing towards wit ad intelligence and only promotes frustration. It is the complete opposite of what mafia should be about. It drains fun out of the game. All strategy, all careful consideration of facts, all stealthy evasion, flushed down the toilet in an instant.

This is why I believe from now on that all PMs should be posted in the OP, or at least the mod should endeavor to make every PM inherently different from every single other PM. Or, even better, only include the single role that the player has with the same exact title for every person. Role: VANILLA TOWNIE, Role: COP, Role: MAFIA. This would be much better in the long run.

For this game, however, none of these options can be taken as we are well into the game. The only thing we can do is enforce an extremely strict penalty: Immediate modkill and banned for the next 5 games. Or something along those lines, it does not have to be that harsh. Yet there should be a punishment beyond the modkill. Destroying the very essence of mafia means that person is not to be trusted and their playing in future games must be monitored with the utmost discrimination. Or they may not be allowed to play games at all.

Now, I simply want to end this day.
