Trophies. I like the variation in Trophy level that each provides (bronze, silver, gold, platinum). I don't like achievments because they're just numbers being stacked up.

Trophies because I use PSN. I get achievements when I play but I only do it for the games I really like. Not a big point in doing them when no one else can see them.

I'm not giving Microsoft money for a service that should be free.

Achievements mainly because I got my xbox first and I have more of them; plus I like that you can have websites like Trueachievements where they can be weighted and such

Yeah those sites are cool. Personally I just use the VGChartz Trophy League.

If Trophies were in every PS3 game, I might give a little consideration to them.  Since a lot of games I own like MGS4, Valkyria, and Heavenly Sword offer no Trophy support, I don't even pay attention to Trophies at all.  So, Achievements win by default.

One thing I hate:  Some Arcade games are as deep as some full retail 360 games.  It's harder to get 200 gs for an Arcade game (hell, sometimes it harder to get 50gs) than it is to get 600-800 in some full games.  I wish Arcade games carried the same weight.

Having both a 360 and a PS3 i prefer achievements.  Though both are totally fine.

OT: Achievements because every 360 and XBLA game has them.

I just don't use Live at all. The account I have for my GamerTag is offline as well so i'm not even sure if I could ever bring that online.

However achievements mean even less to me when there are online ones since I can't obtain them.
