Action-Adventure- Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Red Dead Redemption (tough genre as always so many good ones in it)

Shooter- Halo 3, The Orange Box

Racing- Mario Kart Wii, Burnout Paradise (not a huge fan of this genre, but like the action racers)

Platforming- Super Mario Galaxy, Super Mario Galaxy 2

Fighter- Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Soul Calibur IV (once again not a huge fan of this genre)

RPG- Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World, Mass Effect 2 (don't play a lot of RPGs... maybe played 4-5 this gen)

action adventure: infamous, god of war 3.

shooting: killzone 2, call of duty 4.

racing: gran turismo 5 prologue, burnout: paradise.

platforming: new super mario brothers DS(only platformer i played this gen)

rpg: dragon age:origins, elder scrolls 4:oblivion.

demon souls would be in my top, the first two levels were very fun, but then i kept on loosing.

fighting: street fighter 4, super smash brawl.

Being in 3rd place never felt so good

Action-Adventure - Uncharted 2, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2

Shooter - Resistance 2 (online), Vanquish (Single player)

Racing - Wipeout HD (nothing else)

Platforming - Little Big Planet, Bionic Commando Rearmed

Fighter - Super Street Fighter IV, BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger (2nd one not out in PAL yet)

RPG - Demon's Souls (the only RPG I have EVERplayed and finished)

Action-Adventure: (Tough to choose) Red Dead Redemption, Uncharted 2

Platforming: I haven't played a platformer this gen besides SMG, but my 2 favs of all time is Jak & Daxter: The Precursor Legacy & Jak 3 xD

Fighting: Super SFIV, SSBB

RPG: Oblivion: GOTY Edition, Tie between Mass Effect 2 & Fallout New: Vegas

Shooting: Left 4 Dead 2. Only shooter I have played this gen.

Racing: Burnout: Paradise, Wipeout HD

Platforming: Ratchet & Clank: A crack in time, Trine

Fighting: UFC: Undisputed 2010, Super Street Fighter 4

RPG: Valkyria Chronicles, Eternal Sonata

Overall, Demon's Souls is still the best game of this gen.
