I went to a Futureshop and I only saw a couple of bundles. Don't know how much they had in stock.

No actually I was supposed to meet someone for coffee in one of the malls in my area. I had about an hour to kill so I went to EBGames, Best Buy and FutureShop to kill time. Later I had to go to Walmart and Zellers is nearby so I decided to check them out too, looking for cheapest seasons of SmallVille , PrisonBreak and Terminator:Sarah Conner Chronicels.

In the end I was pretty suprised to see it's in stock with that many units none the less. When Microsoft said Kinect would be as big as Wii's launch I didn't expect to see that many if any on shelves. I'm actually even more suprised to hear from other Canadian's in this thread that its in stock in other places in Canada too. I could have sworn Microsoft did fairly well in Canada this is the last thing I'd expect.

As for me calling 360 the X-Box I forgot 360 on the end. But essentially 360 is an X-Box is it not?

I think its more the X-box instead of Xbox

I would say Canada is 3rd in 360 oriented popularity (pretty much mirrors USA) and is up there with those two countries for sure, as im in Canada...

I don't expect Kinect or Move to sell big anywhere, honestly, and thats because the Wii beat them both to the punch years ago, regardless of Ps3/360 popularity by region. That just my opinion.

it generally isn't selling at an inflated rate on ebay, plus in my area plenty of kinects were available, so either microsoft sent more than enough, or the demand isn't as high as expected, given all of their claims of it outselling the wii at launch I think it might be the former, but not necessarily

You probably right. Those that I know who bought the Wii for stuff like exercising and dancing doesn't seem too interested in Kinect. They already has this stuff for the Wii. Now hardcore gamers know Kinect is more advance than the Wii  yet I doubt a lot of casual gamers  know  all the differences. It's the same that a lot of HDTV owners continues to buy DVD even though Blu-Ray is better.

I don't know how much my local gamestop sold, but that got about 30-40kinects...they had an ok mindight release,(about 20 people showed up) they still have a good amount, but again this is just a single store out thousands selling kinect, I'm sure Kinect is doing pretty well

I can't wait for  November and December NPDs .

These anecdotal stories by sony and nintendo fans will make the forthcoming NPDs that much sweeter.

I traveled with my mind to the local EB games. I could not sense any Kinect cameras or Kinect bundles.
