Personally I like to get a little more creative than simply no-shave november.  Depending on how tolerant your wife/girlfriend/significant other/dog is I suggest neck-beard november.  Shave everything off but the part on your neck...

If the goal is prostate cancer awareness you'll get a lot more questions about it than if you had simply not shaved at all...

I didn't know there was a tie-in with prostate cancer. I my certainly am doing No-shave Novermber. Although confession, this year I cheated a bit...I did Orangutang October aswell.

At first I thought this might be talking about not shaving your pubic hair for some reason.  Anyways, I will not participate in not shaving cause I never can get past the itching part around 3-5 days.

As my job doesn't mind me to not shave, I have been regularly not shaving for the entire winter time.  I have to go outside regularly and find it helps keep me warm in the winter time (full beard) or it may just be in my head.

If I had known about this event, I wouldn't have shaved either.  Its a good cause.

Damn, I just shaved 15 minutes ago. I'm having another sleepless night, why not prepare for tomorrow (next class in 5 hours). :/

I hate facial hair. I shave just about every other day,so no. lol

I'm not shaving for November. For that matter i very rarely shave any month unless the wife has a moan at me.

might sound like a noob question , but what does beards have to do with Prostate Cancer? do you get it by infection during shaving?
