Personally I like to get a little more creative than simply no-shave november. Depending on how tolerant your wife/girlfriend/significant other/dog is I suggest neck-beard november. Shave everything off but the part on your neck...
If the goal is prostate cancer awareness you'll get a lot more questions about it than if you had simply not shaved at all...
