theres no justification for it. he didn't do anything to get banned so why delete his account.

dunno01 banned him because he requested it not cause he did anything wrong so in my opinion it would be a fail to delete his account unless he himself the TheRealMafoo requst a deletion.

I stopped reading his "Obama considers me his enemy" thread when I listened to the Obama quote and Obama didn't mention TheRealMafoo a single time.  He was trying to get out the Latino vote because the enemies of Latinos were telling Latinos not to vote.  Total non-issue.  I didn't notice that thread kept going and got out of hand or anything.  Weird.

Well, Mafoo will be missed.  Good luck in New Zealand dude.

dunno did not request that mafoo be deleted. A member can request deletion of his or her account, which mafoo did. dunno, being a mod, simply complied with mafoo's request.

I would comment more, but tbh, i'm afraid of getting banned.

*sighs* Let me clear things up. What I think of the content was irrelevant. However, rather than using one thread, he felt that every single thing he wanted to complain about warranted its own thread. I locked his last one, stating that this was not his personal blog, as his multitude of posts could be construed as spamming. If it were contained to one thread, I'dve done nothing. He took the locked thread as an afront, and requested a ban on his account. (Look at his last post from his profile, or the actual referenced post in the ban reason.) I am not the one requesting the ban; rather, I did what I could to honor his request- a permaban, which, he may request removed by any moderator at any time; it's not a discipline ban.

As for this thread, since it is discussing a mod action publically, which is against the rules, consider it locked.
