Does this really help add a foot or so of play space? If so I really will have to look into getting one. I can play 2 players at a time but I only have about a lil over 6 ft. If this gives me almost 7 to 8 ft by having the height and stuff and allows for better movement trackign than I will SO be getting this.

The wall mount does, not the TV mount. Unless your HDTV is mounted on the wall. If your TV is on a cabinet or entertainment center, that means it's probably a good 1-2 feet or more away from the wall, so by mounting the sensor on the wall, you now have an extra 1-2 feet (or more) playing distance, which could be the make or break distance depending on how large your playing area is.

Well, I'm not sure how much more space it added but it does put the Kinect closer to eye level which is a good thing.

Around the Network

If I had small kids this would definitely be a must-buy. Small kids are notoriously curious and want to know what is inside that black thing. The thought of a toddler looking right into the laser projector doesn't really appeal to me at all...

The TV mount does too because it is higher up. Major Nelson said it himself.

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.
