This is because PES launched in Q3 last year, while it did in Q2 this year. Explains a lot.

Reminds me of Pacman for some reason

Well it's obvious if they don't release games for the Wii and DS the sales will drop. I'm still waiting for Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 for Wii, which will be released once again later than the HD versions. And no Power Pro for Wii this year I think.

Considering the lack of games I think 12% is pretty high, I wonder which games would be. Probably Walk it Out!, I haven't played it but has fantastic reviews in Amazon. Seems to work and to be very fun, not the usual shovelware title.

Guys, Konami sold 10.05m games in Apr-Sept 2010 vs. 5.89m in Apr-Sept 2010. So the Wii figure as a percentage dropped but in units Konami only sold 200,000 fewer Wii games. I covered this in my Konami earnings article - its on the frontpage of Vgchartz still.
