It's not confusing, they were lying, plain and simple, trying to make it seem like it's insanely popular to build hype and make people buy it, and I don't see how this statement is any different I know it will do decent to start with but without the hype and 500 mil behind it, the only place it will go is down

While Microsoft does have a couple of games on the horizon, the future of kinect does not rely on Microsoft Studios making a bunch of tremendous games. Basically, Ubisoft is trying to get their foot in the door as quick as possible to be seen as the top 3p Kinect software publisher. Does anybody even care who the top 3p Wii publisher is?

They did the same for the Wii, they started fine but then released cash in behind cash in with zero quality and ruin the market.

And of course they care who is the top 3p Wii publisher, the answer its obvious, and they have the black numbers in their report to prove it.

Can't know if that means anything yet.  The people MS is aiming at are people who wouldn't go to stuff like this.  They would go on amazon or go in the next few days.  We'll see, but yeah it seems they overdid it a bit, that's alot of Kinects for one store lol.

They lied about how well it was actually selling and you think they won't lie about predictions? They only uped the predictions because move was going to easily clear the 3 mil bar, so they want to look like they can do more even if they can't

All of MSes Hype, shortening stock for launch to make it more likely to sell out and still falling short, this does mean something

Well i'm not sure how much demand there is, but it's getting people interested in gaming because of requiring no controller, and that sort of news travels fast. Within a short time i believe people will be even more aware from word of mouth (granted the games/tech doesn't disappoint from a casual standpoint) and demand will only increase.
