But you have to remember that things like KINECT aren't the kind of products to have a ton of pre-orders.

Then why were they saying it was sold out everywhere? This just seems like more smoke and mirrors to me 

That part is confusing me too, but rest assured it will most likely do much better than you think.

It's not confusing, they were lying, plain and simple, trying to make it seem like it's insanely popular to build hype and make people buy it, and I don't see how this statement is any different I know it will do decent to start with but without the hype and 500 mil behind it, the only place it will go is down
