Any good ? for people who played it on 360 and PC ? , its Gothic-like WRPG

its releasing soon on PS3 in the UK ONLY but the release dates are quite odd, it released ONLY in Germany for 360 , and is going to release on PC in the US ONLY, sometime later.

see how many "Only " are there?  , it seems odd...

thats why its odd, it should been worldwide really, i haven't heard of this game.

It also released in Poland for pc something like 8 months ago but I haven't seen any single possitive review for it. Altrough biggest problem were really serious bugs if they repaired it for western release it might even be 50 or 60% metacritic game.

Oh, I didn't know this game was actually out.

Destructoid had been hyping it up for a while and I wanted to try it, I just didn't realize it was already released.  I'll try it later.

Never heard of it but both Play.com and Amazon.co.uk have it listed to come out on PS3 on the 10th of December and 12th of November is the release date for 360 and PC in the UK.

Venetica was developed by Deck13, the company which in Germany is best known for the PC point & click adventure games Jack Keane and the Ankh trilogy (these adventure games were very successful over here). Venetica is their first RPG, it was released last year in Germany for PC and 360.

I'm still interested in the game and I'll probably buy it for PS3 if it turns out to be a a good port without bugs - the PC version had plenty according to reports - but this is not the first time I'm very disappointed with the strange release concept of German videogame publishers (dtp entertainment in this case).

We never had strong publishers like Infogrames or Ubisoft over here, that's for sure...
