I'd also give this a 3 out of 10.

It was more entertaining then the last movie.... but made less ense.

As I recall, the conclusion of the movie was basically Obi-wan going to some planet to investiage something...

then some guy was all like "Hey here's your clone army Jedi dude!"

And Obi Wan was all like.... "Uh... right... clone army.... we paid for this in advance right?"

"Yep!"

"Ok!"

It was, unless I'm remembering the situation wrong, just about the worst set up to a climax ever.

I though Sam Jackson did an Ok job as Mace though, until the fight scenes where he became Sam Jackson.  Count Dooku was a step up over Darth Maul.

Why?

This movie, and the first one too, felt pretty much believeable in a sense books and movies aren't actually allowed to be most of the times.

You see, you need interesting characters in a book all around, good pacing all the time, incredibly smart decisions all around with no holes in logic, nice things like 'wow' happening every single instant and so on, so on, so on.

Well, real life isn't like that. Try to write a movie about any event in the history of mankind, any of them, as long as you deliver a movie 100% as the events were. Won't be the nicest movie around, will it? At least not the way we are used movies to be.

Maybe that's why I felt this movie was pretty much like a window to the Star Wars universe. A bit like Lord of the Rings really (not that I'm directly comparing them) - Tolkien wasn't worried shit if you think Bombadil was useless to the tale or the lack of romance a let down.  It went how things were supposed to happen, see. Don't like Jar Jar? Boba Fett didn't make sense? The problem is yours, that's how the story went.

Still some lines could have been better (felt like they were simply thrown there) and Anakin just popped his arrogance out of nowhere. Maybe we need a movie between I and II.

It was my least favorite or 2nd least favorite Star Wars movie. This is a tie with Empire Strikes back.
