I like fable 3, Fable 2. But I hate fallout 3. will i like oblivion? it looks like fable but does it play anything like it?

I love Oblivion but hate Fallout 3
Oblivion is the best WRPG this gen, get it!
and when speaking about Oblivion only listen to my, slimebeast or Boutros' opinion.

I don't think you need to be a fan of Fallout 3 or Fable to enjoy Oblivion. Its really not like either. It looks a lot like Fallout 3 ofcourse because its built on the same engine.
You should just play it. I still think its the best WRPG ever made.

to me the Fable series is like a more actiony streamlined third person camera version of Elder Scrolls series
You WONT find the british humor in Elder Scrolls like you do in Fable.
You WONT find the gigantic open world in Fable like you do in Elder Scrolls.
i'll tell you, if you like Fable then its a no brainer that you get into the Elder Scrolls series.
let me make a quick comparison
Fable = Humor, Colorful, Cartoonish, Streamlined (but still open in a sense), Third person perspective, less interaction with objects, more mini games but less dungeons.
Elder Scrolls = More serious, Still beautiful looking , not cartoonish but still not depressing like Fallout (even less depressing than Fable really) you can enjoy just walking around with lush colorful scenery, first person perspective , more interaction with objects than you do with Fable, less mini games but huge number of dungeons.

I didnt like fallout 3 because when you have a bunch of items it slows you down. plus even on the easiest mode I got stuck in fallout 3 right in the beginning. and the game is so dark. sounds like i would like oblivion more but idk if i should get it

I like Oblivion but not Fallout too much, there is a much different feel to the game. You probably like fantasy RPGs themed with castles and dungeons which Oblivion is like.

Yes there is but I would reccomend first person
And Oblivion isn't dull, its amazing seeing it.
