Used to be a big MMA fan during the heydays of Pancrase and Pride, but I don't watch it so much anymore. UFC has some world class fighters and all, but I guess the company's lowest common denominator approach reminds me too much of a monster truck rally.

Have you ever heard of a fighter called anderson silvia, I would'nt call that the lowest common denominator. GSP is another good fighter. The only problem I have with the UFC,there's so many fighter's,it's hard to keep up with all of them.lol

I love it, but never buy the ppv's. I dont consider myself a UFC fan, but an MMA fan(which includes UFC of course).

Ive been a MMA fan since I watched UFC 1 on VHS back in HS (yea...was a long time ago).

 

I make sure I catch the show each week (TUF) as well as Bellarator when I can.  Do the same with UFC events, a large group of us go out to the bar on Fight Night.  Wings beer fighting = awesome.

Hell, its the same with Strikeforce and the now absorbed WEC.  I try to watch all that I can. 


I guess, yea Im a huge fan  :)  And Jr. Dos Santos vs. Cain is going to be awesome!

If Pride was New Japan Pro Wrestling and Pancrase was All Japan Pro Wrestling, UFC would be the WWE.

Its (UFC) good entertainment but I prefer K1.
