I never thought so either...now I don't know what to think anymore...but one thing is clear: those smaller markets which are hard to track are truly big players in the strength of the PlayStation brand.

You will be impressed that the runaway market leader last gen has crawled into secoind place after 5 or 6 years on sale?   Most here, and many currently celebrating this recent adjustment - which still has it 3.9m behind, expected this within a year or so of the PS3 release.  

It will be an achievement of sorts yes... but impressivbe? hell no.

Whjats impressive is the market loser last gen, Ninty, has domintaed so far this gen and that MS has managed to build a profitable and worthy gaming business. 

but thats just my opinion...

PS3 catching the 360 in any shape or form IS impressive. We're not in last gen. The PS3 goes from the awful start it had (along with it's reception) to more comfortable numbers, while making money (which many said it never would).

There's plenty to be impressed about, and I respect where he's coming from because he doesn't even favor the PS3,

Remember when PS3 was having a hard time outselling the GBA in Americe?

My how times have changed....

well speaking as a 360 supporter... Im very happy that the 360 is about to have its best year ever...

cant speak for anyone else.

One can only assume but we will see soon enough.

Well... my opinion about ALL PS3 massive adjustments.

Just an example senario:

IF PS4 ends up on TOP nextgen and xbox3 ends up 3rd....

I might be wrong BUT I very much doubt xboxfans will say the NEXTBOX is a disappointment  because it got trump by a "losser console" from last gen.

Very much doubtful, Im sure xbox fans will cherish and celebrate every bit of good new about it.

specially if does what PS3 is doing now, the top selling console WEEKLY despite being 3rd and only has like a 3m gap from the 2nd place console.
