Maybe he saw the sales adjustments coming and reckoned that this time fair play was more convenient for him.

thats good of him to say so because move is a great product.
its perfectly ok to say xxxxx is a great product but we feel our xxxxx product offers more, instead of saying 1 is crap ours is miles better. ie T10 fiasco
...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...
PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk
really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...

I agree, hence why the move didn't push any hardware

Come on. It's so obvious what he's doing. He really wanted to say, "Move has no games, it's derivative, and at least the Wiimote doesn't require a camera. It's even more expensive than Kinect. (Where YOU are the controller!) Did I mention it has NO GAMES?"But he likes to be subtle about needling good-hearted, loyal, honest, and true PlayStation fans like myself. Sad performance, Greenberg. Just shameful. Kill yourself, please. |
Not gonna lie, that sounds like an insecure interpretation of Greenberg's comments.
Do you really think he means what you just stated in quotations, or did you actually come up with that on your own - and are angry at yourself for thinking such things about Move and are taking it out on Greenberg?

Lol. It might be early days, but hardware has most definitely been moved for a number of weeks. I expect Kinect to do better, but Move has moved hardware.

I guess he jumped the gun too early.
Never did I expect such massive adjustments.
Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!
Kojima: Come out with Project S already!

Even the wrong ones?
C'mon, he was nicely professional for once, but he's spinning and deliberately projecting a false perspective on Sony's approach.
For example I notice the US Kevin Butler Move ads seem to be curiously focused on Move specific titles and a curiously Wii like family environment.
The difference at this point is Kinect is purely aimed at new titles/experiences (nothing wrong with that of course) while Move is aimed at both the existing base/titles and new titles/experiences. Looking at the ratio of Move titles at launch to exiting titles patched it's clear that the split isn't 50/50 either but skewed towards Move specific titles similar to Kinect. Even allowing for Socom and the like there are still more new Move specific titles in the works, such as Sorcery, than Move optional titles, so this isn't temporary for Move launch either.
Nope, he's just plain wrong in his core arguement, although in his shoes I'd say exactly the same thing.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

The Cat is Reasonable. :D Sorry I had to do it rofl.
And he's right. How can Greenberg say Move is not trying to sway casuals? That's the whole reason they both got into this motion stuff. Of course, Sony seems to be aiming for customers in a more balanced manner to be sure.

Of course, I certainly agree. They don't want the 45 million potential Halo Lovers to buy Kinect. They are after completely new people who don't own a 360 or ever thought about buying one.

Don't you think Sony's approach is viable too? Aim mostly at casuals, but why not tap into the faithful who will support you greatly? Both approaches look like they're gonna pay off bigtime anyway though, so cheers all around!
