I think the most likely villian (with The Riddler out) would probably be Catwoman ... After The Dark Knight it is likely that they will need to introduce a strong female character to act as a romantic interest, and the most likely candidate is Catwoman.

I could be wrong though, I was kind of betting on The Riddler being the next main villian with Catwoman being a side villian, with the Riddler being portrayed as more of a terrorist of some sort (using his riddles to create mass panic in the city for some form of personal gain) but that doesn't appear to be the direction they're moving in.

Yeah that's exactly what I had figured - with Rachel Dawes out of the picture there needs to be a new love interest.  I'm not sure how they will create a backstory for Catwoman though in this more realistic setting, which definitely narrows their options of villains cutting out all the supernatural and more far-fetched characters.  I can't imagine a Penguin character in this setting for instance.

Cool, I liked his other movies.

Inception however, is just an example of how bad the movie industry has gotten. Yes it's a good movie. It only looks like a great movie because of all the shit around it.

OMG I'M SO HYPED !!! GO GO NOLAN !!

I'd really be amused if they cast Johnny Depp as The Mad Hatter.

I am 'so' glad the film isn't going to be in 3D.

Yeah. Mostly because I won't have to wear two sets of glasses to watch the movie.

cant wait

brilliant....I'm almost afraid for Nolan because he seems to be having a streak of incredible films and I'm certain that its all going to come crashing down at some point.

The last main villian was a clown.  They could make it work.

Yes, so instead of Catwomen, they could instead use Talia AlGhul, the daughter of Ras AlGhul from Batman Begins. personaly i thought Batman Begins was better than TDK, but i still think this will be the best one.
