It appears that the Move bundle and the Move Navigation controller are in stock.  The stand-alone Move unit is not.

So maybe lots of move owners are buying more than one controller huh?

It only bombs EVERYWHERE, they are so desperate to garner some attention with these shipment articles.

Sony Corp.’s Playstation Move controller for the Playstation 3 held an sold out status at Wal-Mart Stores Inc.’s online division this week due to high demand of the peripheral.

This week, the Playstation Move product page at Walmart.com disclaimed an out of stock status.

Additionally, this week the Playstation Move product page at GameStop.com disclaimed a ‘Backordered’ status.

Finally, this week the Playstation Move product page at Amazon.com disclaimed a ship time of two to four weeks.

And Kinect is sold out everywhere.  It's pretty amazing isn't it?  The peripheral hasn't even come out yet and it's sold out.  Wonder if that says anything...

And you can still get a Move controller at the store.  The post just shows how much online demand has increased and how markets will soon adjust.  You can also still get the $100 online, which shows that the demand for the Move isn't for a new emergin market for Sony, but that those who already have a Eye Toy are buying the Move.

V:  And the truth is, there is something terribly wrong with this country, isn't there? Cruelty and injustice, intolerance and oppression. And where once you had the freedom to object, to think and speak as you saw fit, you now have censors and systems of surveillance coercing your conformity and soliciting your submission. How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror. I know why you did it. I know you were afraid. Who wouldn't be? War, terror, disease. There were a myriad of problems which conspired to corrupt your reason and rob you of your common sense. Fear got the best of you, and in your panic you turned to the now high chancellor, Adam Sutler. He promised you order, he promised you peace, and all he demanded in return was your silent, obedient consent. Last night I sought to end that silence.

Some people just can't say "good job" and move on.

@arcane - that's an awesome picture.

"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY."  --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials

And many millions more buried next to all those copies of that E.T. game, which was roughly as popular in its day as the PS3 is today.

If there was a place to sell out Move it would be Walmart imo.

If you go to Sony Style stores, you can find concealed trap doors that lead in to 100 ft deep bunkers that all these overshipped playstation products are lying around.  These trap doors are hard to find - I guarantee it.
