hasnt anyone told you guys amazon isnt useful to tell sales trends from? and that site isnt right. I wont switch from my PC platform to an Xbox 360 since the last time I owned a 360 it RROD on me.

I called Gamestop just for fun, they had it in stock. My guess is you really don't know how many are sitting on shelves around the US.

Actually, it's sold out at Target and Frys, as well as Wal-mart. Target says it expects to be able to ship out new ones in 2-4 weeks, while Frys says it's on back order. Though, it seems to be available at Gamestop and Best Buy. Of course, this is just for the standalone Move controller.

Did you write the original article? The way you posted it, it looks like you work for the site.
Anyhow, I can go, "Cool, Kinect has a fanboy site dedicated to it" which is kinda interesting. However, it would of been good if the writer didn't then go off and speak how Kinect will win people over from their "trusted brand (the PS3)". The 360 has a saled lead now. I don't see any place where anyone would argue that Kinect causes people to give up their PS3 for a 360. It is like chat I saw where people were saying Killzone 2 would win Halo fans over to the PS3. Now, the article says "people considering the Wii" then I can see a case for Kinect being argued there.

In this case, why is it a problem? Move is a solid point of reference to discuss Kinect next to. If Move is selling well, and Kinect is selling out, that means Microsoft and Sony were right that people want motion control and high def. The issue here is whether or not the comment about Move selling well is correct or not.
You can't compare Move to Kinect. Kinect is more expensive for one...
It's just that simple.
