Looks good, Kinect adventures is looking more responsive, maybe Good Science is getting help from Rare.

I'm enjoying this!
Most impressive so far, tech wise - Kinectimals, but KA looks most fun.
Least - Joyride .. just doesn't seem much depth.
I expected way more people to be in this thread after so many were concerned that Microsoft wasn't allowing the gaming media to preview Kinect before launch.

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.

Really? I thought it was pretty much guaranteed that this topic would sink being it's positive news on Kinect.
@OP
Good to see that it's still improving and will continue to see improvements as it begins to get into houses and MS collects data to push out algorithm updates. When Kinect was announced I was planning on getting it close to release but since then the amount of available gaming space I have has shrunk dramatically. I think I'm going to have to sit this round of Kinect out :( but I look forward to seeing if/how this the industry as well as hackers and enthusiasts putting the hardware to good use in clever ways.
Few observations:
- Response time looks better than expected.
- Looks like you have to go slowly through menues to be able to navigate accuratly
- It looks like to have to stick to your spot when playing? I would like to see what happens if you take one step in any direction and tryout the how the system responds.
- I didnt see the fun factor that I have seen in kinect commercials.
- Player having problems throwing the ball in kinectimals
Wow very impressive.
The most important thing is that Kinect seems to work very well. On the other hand, all of those games, with the exception of dance central, look like they would get very boring after 10 minutes. Dance Central looks like a lot of fun though.
I'm glad that Kinect is looking like it will be a good peripheral so we can stop with all the speculation.
The fitness game impressed me the most due mainly to how it showed that your body was being placed into the virtual world and the world interacting with it. The blue boxes that fly around bounced off the back of the person quite nicely. Also, it uses the depth data nicely to make sure the person is extending their punches out instead of just detecting whether or not movement was behind the block. It also made sure the person was using the correct body part to hit the blocks. Wasn't sure if they would be calculating that since they are not using MS's skeletal system stuff.
The games overall look pretty polished. I don't care for Dance Central, but it will probably be the killer app for Kinect. I didn't care for Kinectimals(but it looks great for kids) or Joy Ride either. Kinect Sports looks good(not based purely on this video) and Kinect Adventures does a stand up job of showing the strengths of the platform. Should be interesting to see how the public recieves the device.
A kinect review? This must be fake no way. /jk
Looks better everytime I see it. Dont know if i'll have the cash to buy it when it comes out but I will get it as soon as I do.
Kinect is made for people that don't like to play games with buttons and need to be free, it's little hard to gamers to get it.
I see lot of fun, they did it right on focusing the casual gamers at launch.
I like knect adventures and joyride, i don't like to dance alone at home (I never did, as i remember) but dance central is a must have for family reunion and parties.. hahhaha
