It's too bad this thread is going to be closed because there are so much to disscuss here.

First:

Seece once again calling shot at people for no reason.

Second: Why is it the people that have huge history of trolling, banning and warnings that always complain about how much their consoles get attacked?

 

Frankly the Wii and PS3 get waymore negative threads and post than MS, the reason you don't see it is because you are usually in the middle of them.

I am a JRPG gamer first and foremost. I go wherever the vast majority of JRPGs go. For a while I was a huge Xbox fan, but then they just seemed to give up on JRPGs.

If you track my VGChartz history back to the beginning you will see me mention the same exact thing.

Sorry don't buy it, you want an example of a well grounded PS fan that doesn't let their bias get in the way, look at Boutros.

Sometimes I actually wish the PS3 had been more successful because it might have resulted in better discussions in the Microsoft forum.  I seem the remember Xbox 1 discussions on the Internet in which you could actually talk about the system and its games without the constant trolling.

I'm not sure what can be done and maybe it's unreasonable to expect this forum to only have serious meaty thought provoking discussions but it would be nice to be able to have at least a few of them or even regular casual threads without it becoming a chore to sift through the garbage to follow them.

We're all biased, dear. Don't tell me you see all consoles in existence as being perfectly equal. 360 fans are biased, PS3 fans, DS fans, Wii fans, etc.

You can't be that naïve, can you?

These things are still being discussed?

 

It happens in all forums.  No matter the console, there is always someone coming to put a negative spin on things.

It is way more annoying to see people pretending it is worse for their console of choice, than the fact that it actually happens across the board.

I went to see what all the fuzz was about in the "im really really close to buying a 360" And there were about 3 harmless off topic posts, made by 2 posters.. some "snesboy" and "lether"-whatnot, before you entered and started ranting about how everyone is derailing. And from that point, the thread really got derailed.

I wouldnt call that "so much shit". And it sure didnt seem like it was some PS3 fanboys trying to make sure another MS thread was going to suffer. It was harmless.

So if thats where you draw the line of shit, id say you just see "shit" where you see fit. Do yourself a favor and don't look for shit, and dont take internet so serious and you might enjoy it more.
