The ads make it clear it's also for the PS3, even if they don't explicitly sate so.

@lordtheknight  you must be talking magazine ads cause MW2 clearly had a big ass 360 sign on the end of the commercials matter of fact they were pretty much just advertising the 360 bundle when the tv ads were on the air, and Black Ops still say Xbox360 at the end. so I say again most people interested in COD already know what console its coming too.

You're still assuming the 360 mentioning part is the sole indication of the system.

According to what you say anyone interested knew that MW and MW2 were on the Wii as well. Only problem with this is that the MW version came only last year (2 years after MW), and there was no MW2 Wii...

So why again should the average person know there is a COD Black Ops Wii, not to mention that it is (as was understood, we can only guess) full featured?

I hope the controls are good. A thing that makes the original so outstanding are the controls. I doubt you can get just as good controls with the wii controller. You won´t get it with the classic controller either. This game should come with the n64 controller.

@lordtheknight   how would the average person seeing that MW2 commercial possibly know that MW2 was also on PS3??? There was no Sony or PS3 sign at the end, the only indication was that it didnt say "only on Xbox", that still wouldnt tell the average joe what other system the game could be on.

@bmmb1 I wasnt even referring to Wii, just PS3 and it was not advertised (at least on TV) as being on PS3 and it still did good so my point stands. MW came out on Wii much later and still did more than mil with no advertisment!!! My point is that most COD fans know what COD is on what, core gamers know what game is on what system. They could play COD on Wii commercials during Oprah is does not mean the WiiFit/Just Dance crowd will all of a sudden feel the urge to get it, (unless Oprah endorses it)

Horrible commercial once again.What is so damn wrong with actually showing off the game for majority of the 30 seconds and listing the features of the game.

The Wii version of Black Ops will benefit from all the advertising and footage for the PS3/360 versions. GoldenEye will and is getting nothing by pure comparison. I really do feel commercials like this are pointless as they show nothing of significance that will stay with the viewer. It's the same I think as doing nothing in the end.

Perhaps, but it's difficult to tell (especially here in the UK) what the consoles they are for in the BO commercial. Knowing that COD6 bypassed the Wii may mean casual won't realise it's released and go for other versions...
