Ok, I'll be clear, I'm anti Sony, and a Nintendo Fan, but dang, my Wii hasn't been played for a while, and I need a "backup sistem", sooooooo I'd never really play a PS3, but this evil monster is forcing me to purchase it:

so yeah, I'll probably pick it this holiday, or maybe Q1 2011, if there's a LBP2 bundle, but anyway, is there really any space for me in the PS3 family? that's up to you to convinve me.
My favorite Wii games would be:
1. Zelda: Twilight Princess
2. NSMBWii
3. Monster Hunter Tri
4. SSBB
5.SMG2
PS3 games I'd get:

Among other like R&C,TLG, Shadow of the Clossus HD, etc......
Also not really into FPS or uberly gory games like GoW3, or in realistic racing sims like GT5.
So anyway, is it worth it to buy a PS3 for me, recomend me good games, my fate is in your hands.
Ps. Nintendo friends, don't hate me.

The PS3 is certainly worth a buy in my opinion. I believe it has the best library of games out of the three consoles and it's amazing to me that more people don't realize this.
I can't personally speak for the Final Fantasy games as they aren't my personal thing.
Mod Nation Racers plays a lot like a Mario Kart (But in my opinion isn't AS good, but I wasn't overly fond of the last several iterations of Mario Kart. It's a very cool game but it's not for everybody.
Little BIg Planet is a sublime game. One of my personal favorites this generation. If you have a creative bone in your body, you'll love this game. And if you just enjoy platformers you'll like a lot about this game. Multi-player, the music, etc. It doesn't control as much like a Mario as you might expect but it is an awesome game. Definitely purchase the first one (Its only $30 at this point) before you pick up LBP2. As a Nintendo fan, you'll love the game.
Other titles were mentioning,
Heavy Rain (Story driven, Thriller, but this is definitely an adult game but plays out like a great movie, a lot of fun).
Uncharted 1 / Uncharted 2 (Both are superb story driven, adventure games.
Demon's Souls, a very tough game for a lot of people but not as hard as portrayed by many. A game that kind of shockingly engrosses you and rewards you with fun. Not for the faint of heart though, you will need to really encompass yourself into this game to get the full enjoyment out of it. It's an RPG but the story isn't exactly overly clear or good. Still a great game.
Absolutely 3D Dot Game Heroes, plays almost to the point of copying Zelda (Reminds me a lot of the old school Link to the Past Zeldas).
Flower (Awesome DLC game, it doesn't seem like an awesome game on the outside but believe me it certainly is, and worth every penny). Plenty of other good games but these are some of the first I would purchase.
You said you don't like Gory titles so I guess God of War III and Kill Zone 2 probably don't pique your interest but those are two great games as well.
