| Rainbird said: So I've been thinking about trading my Wii and its games in to reduce the price on a 360S 250GB at GameStop, but as it turns out, I can get a 360 for less than what GameStop offers, even after I trade in all that stuff. So I'm considering buying one right now, and considering it really hard. But I've got a few questions. - What comes in the package? A month of Live? A headset? - What batteries do the controllers use? Do I need to buy battery packs and a charger or something? - Do I need Gold to buy from marketplace? - I'm looking for some cheap games, so it would be nice to have old games recommended. I already have my eyes on a few, but it would be nice to get some additional feedback. Online multiplayer is a low priority though. - I'm really torn on whether to wait for Kinect or not. |
1. You get a headset, controller, and all the necessary cables (including HD cable). I think you get a month free but I'm not sure how. When I signed up for a 12 month XBL membership it actually gave me 13 months so i think you do get an extra month.
2. AA, but I recommend spending the $30 on a charge and play kit. Or you can get a 3rd party one for like $20.
3. No, you can buy it on marketplace with a credit card or in stores.
4. I can't really recommend games without knowing what you like. Fable 2 is under $20 now, Halo 3/ODST are cheap now, Fallout 3 is like $20 now, etc. Just look on gamestop.com
5. Don't wait for Kintect, there's no reason to. The new Xbox's are Kinect ready anyways so just get it now and don't get kinect later (but if you do get kinect later you'll be all set)
