Thanks for sharing the trailer. I'm actually anticipating the game now, the first one was a little boring gameplay wise, but this one looks like it will be better and have a more fluidic battle system. If it ends up very similar to Mass Effect, I don't see that as a bad thing...Mass Effect 2 was one of the best WRPG's I've ever played.

I did watch the trailer. And I agree with you that the first one was great, and now they've destroyed everything good about it for mass effect clone

Possibly, but the generic story didn't help, Morrigan and Leliana were the saving grace.

This one seems to have a much more fun combat system....that takes away half my problems with the first game, and Bioware are making the story better too.

Bioware are making this game for ME/Console fans like me so I am very happy indeed.

I absolutely loved Dragon Age, it was one of my favorite titles of last year and one of my favorites this generation.

With that said however, this almost looks like it plays like Dynasty Warriors. Either way they changed it completely and to be 100% honest I am just not interested what so ever from what I have seen so far.

 

You know, not everything has to be super fast paced or have shooting. Sometimes I just hate the way western developers think. They always have something great, then they fucking go ahead and ruin it.

third person shooter is the correct genre for mass effect

ME1/2 are actually the games I have felt I have had the most role in ever.

I really had a "role" in those games....I affected so many things with my choices....decisions carried on to ME2 from ME1. I saved a whole race from extinction, that decision could HELP me in ME3....a decision I made in ME1!

If any game should be called a RPG its ME1/2

third person shooter is the correct genre for mass effect

ME1/2 are actually the games I have felt I have had the most role in ever.

I really had a "role" in those games....I affected so many things with my choices....decisions carried on to ME2 from ME1. I saved a whole race from extinction, that decision could HELP me in ME3....a decision I made in ME1!

Key word here. I guarantee that whether you saved or killed the rachni will result in a different cutscene. And maybe a character. Thats it.  Bioware has hyped the series up to crazy levels but no way in hell will they deliver what they promise in any meaningful way.

I agree, though I would use a less harsh term.

Oblivion is the WRPG of the generation as far as I'm concerned.

Bioware has only disappointed me once, I don't think they will disappoint me again.

Even if I get one cut scene about the "Rachni", it doesn't matter because that is enough, I'll have a sense of accomplishment at saving them if for example they help in ME3.....I don't need much more. Just the fact that the game sees I did that in ME1 is enough for me.

I'm sure ME3 will end the trilogy in an epic way.

Bioware hasn't hyped the series to crazy levels....they are just amazing games. (though Me2 is a tad overrated by critics).

Well, to each his own. But i'm still pissed that they turned the old school throwback dragon age into a rpg lite game like mass effect.
