Epic Mickey and Donkey Kong Country Returns are neck and neck! I'm glad that the 2D and 3D Platformers of the holidays are doing well.

Still, the lack of Sonic Colors up there is rather worrisome. I hope that the mediocre Black Knight didn't scare this game's potential buyers away.

killzone 3 also needs to get on the chart. it will likely next week thanks to the beta

I don't think anyone needs to worry about KillZone 3, as it'll sell really well.

Sonic Colors on the other hand... we can only hope for the best! I'm counting on word of mouth and legs on this one.

I don't get it either. Last week was the best week for kinect in online shops (amazon, eb games/gamestop e.t.c) with both the kinect standalone and the 250GB xbox360 bundle rising on the charts and somehow in that week the pre-orders drop 75% ??

Whatever....

The shortages (all I can think of) are probably to blame. That, or the pre-orders are heavily undertracked.

Could be.  I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the announcement of no advance reviews for Kinect, as I would imagine most of those who are devoted enough to gaming to pre-order a game/camera would be much more likely to visit gaming sites.  This would also explain GT5's drop.  People who want GT5 are waiting for a gold announcement, and those who want Kinect may be waiting for the official word on whether Kinect delivers or not.
