Pfft... choosing handhelds based only on hardware? How dreary. Wake me up when the PSP2 gets some games so that we can compare them based on what matters most!

Then again... I believe that 3DS has a Sonic game in the works... so yeah...

Well, I think we don't have enough information about the PSP2. Of course we know that it has a bigger screen and all, but I need to see the software lineup first. If Sony gives me the right games (and I think they will) then I will definitely buy a PSP2.

Right now I'm going to buy the 3DS when it launches, and with the right software lineup I will buy a PSP2 on day one, too.

I also trust Sony more at making games that i am going to like then i do nintendo. after seeing whats happened to the DS and Wii i couldnt take the risk.

With all that been said i can see myself getting the PSP2 over the 3DS but we dont know what games are comming for them yet so

The PSP2 is more likely to be delayed IMO seeing how much of it isn't finalized, it hasn't been anounced and so on.  The 3DS seems a lot more interesting right now because it has 3D games but maybe PSP2 will have also be a 3D sysetm.  Since we know hardly anything about it, it is too early to tell.

However, I don't have the urgy to by either of them in 2011.  I'll continue to play games on my DS.  If new models or price cuts happen, I'll seriously consider a system in 2012.

Until either is jailbroken I would gladly take GP2X Caanoo or Pandora over 3DS or PSP2.  I love my GP2X...

However if looking at those 2 handhelds only, without open source stuff and emulators, I'd go for 3DS. DS has much better portable games than PSP. PSP is your poor mans home console which sucks for portable gaming. I do hope PSP2 is really powerful so we can get crazy emulators workin on it. N64 is the most advance emulation available on handhelds today...

Probally both but if I get just one it will be the 3DS, an I wont get the PSP2 if it looks like that as I doubt I could hold it for long without getting cramp.
