Forums - Gaming - Finally playing catch up

I am now 18 and i am an avid gamer and i love it.

I am a Playstaton gamer and grew up with the PS1 and PS2 and now have my own Ps3, but during PS1 and 2 i never collected games as thats what my bro did. it wasn't before i got my Ps3 in late 2008 that i had my own. Never playing on-line gaming but the occasional lan battle on cs until played Cod4 and i was hooked. Then i got cod5 and one year later i had invested 450+ hours in COD5 multiplayer. Now you could say i got my money's worth. but that was the only game i played for an year.

But now 2010 with Mw2 being an huge disappointment i have started playing a large variety of games and bought many 2010 titles but i am now starting to get 2007-9 titles such as already got Killzone 2, uncharted, the orange box, OF DR and i am planning on getting infamous and many other titles i have missed. Also i am going to get titles that i traded or sold.

But it seems now looking back COD5 left an hole in my gaming and now i am playing catch up. So here is my discussion: have you played a game so much that you have missed out on many other games?

also whats an good 2007-9 sony exclusive title i should get?

no i haven't

i will pick up MGS4 tho when i am in holidays in like 17 days, currently in exam period. i heard its epic

currently also looking at Mercenaries 2 as i heard it was fun as well. finding it on the ebay for like 10 dollars with postage.

that has to be the benefit of playing catch up: is all games are cheap. I play no more than 35 dollars for 2009 games and less for years before.

Well if you liked AC I then I have no objections. I personally think it was boring with all the repetitiveness. But do get AC II because chances are you'll love it more.

And good thinking of getting Batman Arkham Asylum. Once you've played it and start reading about Batman Arkham City, it's amazing and you'll be hyped for Arkham City.

If you are a fan of metal, you should pick up Brutal Legend. It's not an exclusive but it's an awesome game.

i got AC2 and put 40 hours into it

but what made me dislike number 2 over 1 was the story, the story in number one was easier to understand and get your head around with an great twist at the end. AC2 on the other hand was perfectly represented by Desmond "What the F***" . serious i believe the devolopers at ubisoft were like umm this makes zero sense but its too late now lets make the player know that the story makes no sense.

Oh you got it. Nice! Lol I'll agree with the ending and the What the Fuck business. But the voice acting and everything else was sooo good!

You gonna get Brotherhood?
