Forums - Microsoft - Sonic Freeriders Kinect Gameplay

Hey,

I just saw the gameplay of Sonic Freeriders on Xbox 360 Kinect and I wanted to share this with you. It looks really good IMO and the voice recognition seems to work perfectly for this game. The menu-system looked really good, too.

What do you think?

I think I'm gonna break my legs playing this... :)

This game looks very fun to play... ;)

Yeah, I really like the Japanese trailer/ad that they have for it as well. It looks pretty fun to play!

Was it my imagination, or did that guy hit the wall a lot for someone who is giving a demo?

Impressive. It actually makes great use of the Kinect technology. I was expecting something a long the lines of that Eyetoy racing game.

This might turn out to be a good Sonic Riders game. I would have never imagined such a thing.

Exactly my thoughts. I hope the only reason is that the player is bad.

Also it's great they added voice commands. Selecting stuff with gestures seems to take eternity.

This game sucked big time at Gamescom.

Looks like they improved it.

I'm sorry, but this just looks silly.  The control looks very awkward and there were a lot of miscues on the controls for such a short demo.  It looks more awkward to play this than it does fun.
