Forums - Gaming - Is this Graphics Card right for me?

I am not a hardcore PC gamer or anything. I just want to play some games like startcraft 2 and maybe some other games like falout NV. I have the hp a6110n. It only has a 200 watt psu. Will that be a problem? Do you guys think this card is good enough to suit my needs?

Yes it's good enough. You may want to spring for a power supply with a little more, ya know, power. I'd suggest a 600W power supply.

You also might want to get the card from Newegg.com

You also might need some more RAM. 2 GB should be enough, but if you are running Vista, it'd be better to have 4 GB of RAM.

That's the card I have on my computer.  I run the game in 1920x1080 resolution, and while I play on low or medium, high is pretty seamless as well (I play on lower settings because I think the terrain is easier to see), and this is all on a 27" screen...so I'd say you'd be fine, although I'm not sure about ur PSU.

Money can't buy happiness. Just video games, which make me happy.
