Even though I only have about 5 hours (maybe not even that much) total in a week to play games now, I can still see myself gaming in some capacity in the future.
I am the Playstation Avenger.

After the 3DS,it's more than likely going to be my last gen of gaming. I've been gaming since I was 7,in 1987 and now I'm 30. I've had the nes,snes,ps1,ps2,dreamcast,ps3 at some point. There really going to have to do something ground-breaking next gen for me to be apart of it. I work 40hrs a wk and only have a couple days to play games for any extended period of time. I want to focus on other things before I die,I l've been living alone for nine yrs and I want to try and work to improve myself,so I can get a woman and family and all of that other stuff people want in life. Gaming will always have a special place in my heart, but I've been at this for 23yrs and really can't see myself getting into gaming next gen. Again thanks for making this thread,so I could share my thought on this, without having to make my own thread about it. |
No problem, with my job, my family and my other hobbies I literally have about a couple hours a week to play games. Sometimes that changes but for the most part I can't put the time I used to in gaming. I spent so much this gen, I felt like the time restraints and a change inside of me has keep me from enjoying it like I should. Good luck with everything you wanna accomplish I hope things work out.

Sell a man a fish you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish you just ruined a perfect business opportunity.
We didn't emerge out of the stone age because we ran out of stones. Its time to be proactive not reactive.

Fat chance. I have all their albums, and one time I blew Steve Perry behind some portable toilets.

Eh, fair enough, they haven't done any good since Steve Perry got a blowjob by some japanese wrestler anyway. Rumors say he was traumatized and he still hasn't gotten the plastic figurine out...

I most likely won't participate in any of the companies next gen consoles. I come to this conclusion due to the lack of time I currently spend playing games now, games I like in which I don't like the direction they are going in, games I used to think was cannot even play, and that their are so few games that get me extremely hyped anymore. I was wondering, is anyone else feeling this way. Is anyone else feeling all gamed out? This all could be hogwash, perhaps It's just because I haven't played a great game in a while but that's the conclusion I'm at right now. Am I alone? |
Yeah I can see your point, I`ve been kinda having that same feeling. Though the last year was a pretty good year and I``m hyped about a few upcoming games. But this is probably my last big gen, it will all go downhill from here, just a few more years of college left..... Bye bye childhood and hello my job :P I won`t have that much time anymore, so I`ll probably will be there next gen, but just not as active as the previous ones.
Real gamers never stop gaming. They just run out of money to buy consoles and games.
