... and will ignore his rather optimistic reassessment.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha

They sold 2.5mio units in just 30 days and that moronic Pachter thinks they sell another 0.5-1mil in the coming two months (which includes Xmas season and Japan)...

What a complete loser this Pachter is... unbelievably stupid

Looking at it now, that is a low prediction.  Especially considering that now it will have sales from Japan for the next 2 months.  Lol, I beat it will sell 0.5-1 mil, if not more, in Japan alone in those 2 months.

Very good numbers if they are actual sells in stead of shipped.  Either way sounds like Sony is doing well.

I just love how at first people thought Move would be lucky to shift 2M by years end and now we find that it has already shifted 2.5M plus whatever it sells in Japan starting today, so we can assume 3M is a given right now right? Speaking in terms of shipped.

So it could have already shifted what MS is expecting Kinect to shift this holiday season and if Pachter is correct (Which I doubt), it could actually outsell MS' Kinect estimates.

Anyone who thinks it is a failure right now is out of their mind. I am unsure if the goal posts can be moved back any further now. Any further and they are in the stands.

Sounds like PS Move just got their Christmas order from Wal-Mart so they made a press release to try and steal some of the thunder from the Kinect. :P

Seriously though, if these are shipped and half have been sold so far, that's great. As someone posted before, NPD/vgcharts tracks at about 90% of what Sony says the PS3 shipped. However, many PS3s being sold were already shipped and these are new shipments so the numbers will eventually catch up. If 50% of these have been sold at retail, everyone is pretty close to correct, and retailers do believe that this will sell. There's obviously enough demand to sell all 2.5 mill before chirstmas, however we have to remember that these are 'units', so each retail item (controller, bundle, navigator) is a unit.

Something is not right about these numbers. What are people doing with their Move? using them as glow sticks, since the games don't seem to be selling at these numbers.

Either way, I hope the numbers are correct, so that more developers will create games for it.

basically yes

i am still using the demo kit

Of Course That's Just My Opinion, I Could Be Wrong

But motion controls are a fad, right? XD

You, darth, and Carl are really rubbing a lot of stuff in lately.

OT: Move is doing better than I expected it would do.

Wait till GT5 CGI, more rubbing in will be done {*cough* 5 million LTD predictions by some *cough*}

We aren't rubbing it in, we are just being hospitable and serving the crow. It is undeniable that week after week we hear about how Move is not selling well and once Pachter said it sold less than expectations many people jumped on it and treated it as gospel, yet now he states that he underestimated it and people are ignoring it and continuing the "stuffing the channel" talk.

The damn thing is going to sell at least, if not more than what MS is expecting Kinect to shift this season and they still treat it like it is no big deal, even though the numbers already surpass what people expected it is shift from Sept-Dec 2010.

Anyways, what makes this even more impressive is that it was done with a severe lack of advertising.

My money is still on Black Friday week for GT5, if not then I am sure it will drop by the first week of December. It has Move control, it would be foolish to have it miss the holiday season, plus LBP2 releases in Jan. It would be stupid to release both by that time and even more retarded to hold off GT5 till 2nd quarter 2011 or later.

Quote me on late Nov. to early Dec.
