Apparently to get it outside of Japan we need to demand it.

From Capcom-unity

"One snag though. The game has only been announced for Japan. Want it available outside of Japan? Shout out in the comments! The more comments we get for this blog post, the better! "

Go demand it HERE!

They are just getting free publicity with that. I am pretty sure that the game is already coming to EU/NA.

capcom stop jerking us around, the sales of pheonix wright games and layton games are good enough measure of demand in the west.

Layton games in particular should finish this argument. The first one sold how many copies?

4.7M World wide, and it sold least in Japan so it would not make any financial sense to not release layton x wright in the west.

Yeah, that's what I thought.

The Capcom half of this equation may actually drag sales of the game down.

They should just step aside and let Nintendo handle things in the west. Layton is their baby over here.

Layton alone would carry this game in the west.

Already some kind of petition one day after announcement? Gamers have no pride.

This could be a good test of Level 5's overseas publishing mettle. Or if they don't feel up to it, just give it to NoA/NoE :)

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

given Prof Layton's gargantuan sales here in Europe, it would be lunacy not to release it here
