I'm guessing the lack of multiplayer is to blame for these scores, although i wont know til i actully play it.

I thought it was due how incredibly short the game is (6 hours max). But yeah, a good multiplay would bring a lot of lasting appeal.

Does the videogame industry seriously think it can produce games that are less than 10 hours in length/replayability, and have people continue to pay $60 a pop for them?  Oh yes, and they whine also that people are doing trade-ins to buy new games?

Let's see, so this is also an FPS, without multiplayer?  How does that work as far as gettings sales goes?

A great multiplayer would make it's length forgiveable I guess, and it would actually bring some sales. Lost Planet 2 was a much worse game I recon but managed to sell somewhat beyond it's averageness by having a nice multiplayer.

I fear this game will be a total flop in sales - people will know it and play it since it's a very good game, but they'll all rent it.

I guess the game is short because it's always on speed-run mode (the way it's meant to be played)!
