There's a fair amount of variety in the online portion of the game; building the village was massively entertaining for me and really, and most of the online community echoes this sentiment, the game only begins once you finished the single player and hit around skill rank 7 in the online portion.

At this point missions become impossible to finish with less than four players and a lot of strategy is required. I've no idea what the online community is like nowadays, I haven't played for a few months, but if it's still active then I'd give it a go. If you only want to play the offline portion then you might be a little disappointed.

1. No clue

2. The game is mind numbingly easy.....its SO HARD to die......I actually did a test where I TRIED to die, but it was taking so long that I gave up....the game is this easy. I only died ONCE in the entire game. And I AM someone who dies a lot in JRPG's lol

3. I remember no minigames in WKC......FFXIII had the chocobo digging minigame....therefore it has more variety.....and more variety in environments anyway

Well it's not a horrible game but don't expect to get hooked with the gameplay.

I liked the graphics (even though they aren't all that great). They're colorful.

If you have a friend with whom you can play the game, you'll enjoy the online part.

But IGN was way too harsh I agree. I also think it's a decent game but my disappointment was so high.
