That's great news!  The irony is, I'll probably be getting the disc in the mail today...

This is good news for Wii owners who uses Netflix.  I will probably download the channel myself when it's available.

I've downloaded the channel, now I need to figure out how to get my Wii on a US IP... I know how to do that with a PC, but not with  the Wii.

One (easier said than done) solution I can think of is getting my laptop on a US proxy, getting my laptop to become an Internet hotspot (http://cnettv.cnet.com/make-your-laptop-hot-spot/9742-1_53-28619.html), and get my Wii to use that hotspot for its Wifi...

Having 3 million consumers in the U.S. on Netflix is unbelievably impressive. I'm calling it now...Netflix WILL be coming to 3DS. 

Nice to see this. We already have diskless Netflix on PS3 in Canada, no idea why it's not available in the US. Going to have to install this on my Wii as well as a backup to the PS3.

This is great! I got the disc just a month or so ago, which was super fast in arriving, and I've been using it almost everyday. I am very pleased that now I no longer need the disc at all. Woo!

Thanks for the update.  I use Netflix instant stream on Wii all the time.  I'd rather pay about 10 dollars a month for Netflix than 40-80 dollars a month for satellite or cable.  Sure I miss new shows / live tv but I have some much in Netflix queue that I'll never be able to catch up.  This will be a little less hassle switching the disc out.  Going to try and d/l it right now. 

Diskless Netflix on PS3 is available in the US now.
