I just checked online on both games and Halo Reach has about 330,000 people playing it right now and Modern Warfare 2 has about 390,000 people online right now.

So it looks like Call of Duty has taken over as the number 1 FPS on the 360, and I fully expect Black Ops on the 360 to outsell and outscore Halo Reach. As soon as Black Ops comes out Halo Reach will never be the number 1 played Xbox title ever again (sans the occasional special event and map pack release)

Thoughts?

Well, one is at 11.70 million sales and the other is at 5.5 million sales, but I get what you're saying. Call of Duty has become the most popular franchise now.

Man who gives a fuck. Yes I like Halo more, but I can easily see why the cod multiplayer is so populair. As long as the games I like have enough players I'm happy.
