So after todays adjustments Haters still havn't learned?

In fairness, that prediction was posted just before the adjustments. Doesn't change the fact that I disagreed with it then and, of course, disagree with it now. Just sayin'

now look @ the PSmove will flop ppl, where are they? no where to be found.

same thing is gonna happen with GT5.

I believe it. It happened with HEAVY RAIN, God of War III, Uncharted 2, Move and yes, soon to be GT5.

PS3 has really shattered much of it's doubt as of late, and it looks to only continue.

I think it's tough for people to shake off first impressions.  Some people just can't fathom a third place console with such a bad start doing so well.  This is Sony's premier game.  It won't be the best selling, but it will sell well.  B_E_L_I_E_V_E

It is the first time a last place console has done many of things PS3 has. On the flipside, it does have the PS1 and PS2 to thank for it's initial sales. Lately, however, PS3 has been doing good on it's own merits. Things are definitely looking way up for Sony & the PS3.

If things continue to look up, they could, perhaps, pull off another generational victory with the PS4, but that's another thread for another time.

 A thread which I CANNOT wait for.     

About the start, I feel like the PS3 deserved that start, based on their early success.  Not unfair.  It's been performing on its own merits for quite some time.  It's quickly ascending my favorite console list, put it that way.  ;)

Maybe ending as 4th best selling GT is still the most likely outcome, but after the recent good news for PS3, a 2nd place is gaining likelyhood (3rd place is quite unlikely, as current 2nd and 3rd are very close, so "landing" exactly between them is quite difficult, and anyway, once reached  3rd place, Sony would make sure to sell those copies necessary to grab 2nd place, for image sake).

It'll sell, but it's not going to sell as well as some people are claiming. 10 million is sales is out of the question. As i said before, when GT4 sold 14 million, the PS2 has over 100 million PS2 in gamers homes. 14 million wasn't even 1/5 of the PS2 user base. If we went by the PS2 sales and GT5 sold as much as GT4, it would sell about 6-7 million over the lifetime. I'm still thinking it'll sell 3-4 million during the holidays and then 5-6 million lifetime. Halo Reach is going to sell close to 8-9 million lifetime. Halo games tend to have legs and do very well during the holidays.
