Anyone know of some? I am a junior in highschool and want to be a filmmaker

There's only one I know of and it's the California Institute of the Arts. But this one is for the best I believe.

I'd like to know more of them though.

NYU and Columbia both have really great film programs. There is also the New York Film Academy which is where I plan to go after I get my B.A. I don't know enough about the program at my university but regardless I'm going to pursue it.

The best advice I can give is to shop around. Tons of universities have a film program of some sort and they vary in quality. Make sure you find one that is about film making and not film criticism.

Alright, Thank you!

You say America, I'm not sure if you mean soully USA or include Canada in that.

If you include Canada a very good one is VFS, they have churned out many actors, writers and directors that have worked on pretty big movies like HellBoy and the newer StarWars Trilogy (Epsode 1,2,3) Also Vancouver is often called north hollywood if you wanna make it its probubly best you come here first. Alot less competition up here and a very big film industry.

UCLA. I heard it has a good program for what you're interested in.
