SIX new releases for PS3 and its sales go down by 3%? 360 had a better weekly hold over on fewer releases. Wonder why PS2 went up?

Keep in mind NPD showed we were undertracking PS3 in America. 360 will likely still be on top but probably by less than 10k. :edit: Wow, did I call that one or what?

EMEAA Hardware (regional breakdowns below)

You can check on the Japan Weekly Chart for 10 Oct. There were 2 Japan new releases and 4 western new releases, including RDR at 69K and Gekijouban Macross F: Itsuwarino Utahime - Hybrid Pack (PS3) at 123K. PS3 SW went up by 121% over last week. I would have thought PS3 would at least hold steady on that sort of SW perfomrance.

Wait, are you asking because you don't know, or are you asking as a subtle way of suggesting none of those 6 new releases are significant enough to warrant any sort of HW support individually or collectively.

Anyway, nice start for RDR.
