Fuck what Microsoft says, it's the FULL GAME. I previously downloaded the free episode and I earned an achievement that would stay locked until I "purchased the full  game". As soon as I loaded this up, the achievement unlocked.

Go get it now, while you still can.

People on CAG and Slickdeals are both loading their OLD SAVES NEAR THE END OF THE GAME AND IT WORKS! So that alone says this is full game (along with people getting achivements popping) unless they force some kind of patch on the freeloaders this will remain a free game. Congrats to those that got it, and congrats to me cause I was just about to trade off Fable 2 but I'll take a free copy lol.

Must be you download the entire thing and then pay to unlock as you choose.  They have been doing this with packs involving Game Room.

So, should I download this or not? I don't think having only one chapter is worth the hassle.

Also, this doesn't work on the web anymore. You have to DL it through your Xbox.

So am I right in thinking MS screwed up, put the full game on there for free for some reason or another, and didn't want people downloading it so they said it was only Ep 1?

Yeap its the full game I can confirm.

I got pass the childhood area and onto the caravan with no issues. In the chapters when the first chapter was free it would tell you to buy the next section. It was a test MS had and see how many people would buy these "chapters" and ultimately be more expensive then the game. However, recently MS made the full game available for purchase at $20 but for some reason the old version was still up in the process with no chapter locks (so basically the full game) and probably a thousand (or less) in the last few hours were able to grab it for free - I being one of them. Thanks MS!
